I have not been able to paint during these last couple of months. My mind became singularly focused on breaking through clutter. I spent the time plowing into places, physical and psychological that have been buried for so many years. Finally looking at all of the unnecessary layers, rebuilding the infrastructure and finding the beauty in what was always there. Ready to move forward with the understanding of what is just distraction, letting it go, and embracing what is real.
